Disappearing Rabbit

Materials:

cardboard box

black spray paint

2 handholds

2 sided mirror that fits in the box

duct tape

small toy that would fit into the box easily

_decorations,stickers

2. Then, draw and paint white lines on the sides of the box( you can also use white tape to make the white lines), which will make the box look cool and confuse others with its pattern.

Procedure:

1. First of all we get our Cardboard box and paint it with black paint spray( can be any color or can be covered by something else or not covered at all).Then let it dry.Once it dries decide which sides are you going to cut as doors to your box and mark them.

4. Support these windows with thicker cardboards so they won’t fall apart.

3. Cut two side by side sides with a frame only with three sides so you can open and close these windows as you want.

5.Place the two sided mirror into the box in a shape where it will make it look like it is empty when you open it. Be careful with hiding the sides of the mirror(can be tricky). Use black cardboard to hide the lines on the sides.

6.Then you can put 1 handhold to each window of the box, to make it easier for you to open and close the windows during the presentation.

8.Then you can decorate your box with stickers, wires, symbols and papers.

Presentation:

-During the presentation, first of all you must open the windows of the box to show that it is empty then you can put your hands in the box from the different windows and try to make them look like they touch each other by this you will convince the audience that the box is empty.

-Next close both windows, do some magic movements and act like you do spells on the box, the open the window at the top and put the small toy inside the box( which will stuck in that region because of the mirror that is in the middle of the box.

Then you do the magic tricks again and open both windows for the audience, They won’t see anything and will be surprised, because the rabbit was not there (which stuck in the other half of the box).

• Then do some more “magic” and open the top part for the second time and take out the toy you have there and surprise your audience.

• Then you explain the principle of the project and how it works to the audience.
