X11 Server Setup

One board this Analyzer came with was a 16500H 10Base-T Interface Module.

This module allowed X-Server access. So, I started looking for a good opensource X11 server on Windows.

I found one in XMing:

While I recommend to get the enhanced version,  the version on Sourceforge works pretty good for this:

Download the latest version and the latest set of fonts as well from sourceforge.

Now, the setup is not too hard, but for this I recommend the following steps:

1) Create the directory C:\Program Files\fonts\HP16500B
2) On a linux box - a lot easier, otherwise you need cygwin download the *.BDF files

Download the attached fonts.dir file, and install it in HP
