How to plant a plum tree from a branch

If we locate a plum that we like and we want to plant one tree with exactly the same plums, we must not plant a seed from the fruit of this tree because you won't get the same tree "father", But then, How can I plant a plum from a branch ang get a plum tree exactly as the father?

The solution is to take a branch from the "father plum tree" , about 20 cm in length and little thick, I recommend a diameter which does not exceed one cm stake. The Plum tree that we will obtain from the cutting will be genetically identical to the parent plum tree.

This way to obtain plum trees must be done in February (northern hemisphere).
