Wikimania is the annual conference celebrating all the free knowledge projects hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation – Commons, MediaWiki, Meta-Wiki, Wikibooks, Wikidata, Wikinews, Wikipedia, Wikiquote, Wikisource, Wikispecies, Wikiversity, Wikivoyage, Wiktionary – with three days of conferences, discussions, meetups, training, and workshops. Hundreds of volunteers and Free Knowledge leaders from around the world gather to discuss issues, report on new projects and approaches, and exchange ideas.
Wikimania 2019 was held at Stockholm University, Sweden, from 14th to 18th August 2019. Houcemeddine Turki was among the representatives of Tunisia in this international conference and has discussed many issues related to languages support in WMF wikis, to WikiResearch, to Wikitech, to libraries support of WMF wikis and to the use of Wikidata in Medicine and Arabic Sociolinguistics.
