Richard P. Allen Trainee Award

The Richard P. Allen Sleep & Circadian Trainee Award aims to provide financial support for trainees engaged in sleep and circadian research to present their scholarly work at a sleep- or circadian rhythm-related conference (e.g., APSS Annual Sleep Meeting, World Sleep, ATS, SRS, SRBR etc).  Recipients of this award will receive up to $1,000 to support expenses associated with attending the conference (i.e., hotel, airfare, food, registration).   Applications from trainees from underrepresented backgrounds or with demonstrated need are especially encouraged.  Applicants must a) be a student or trainee (e.g., undergraduate, graduate, medical student, resident, postdoctoral fellow) conducting sleep/circadian research and b) submit and present an abstract at this year's Johns Hopkins Sleep & Circadian Research Day.  Deadline for submission: May 10, 2024.
