~Please plan for 1 1/2 hours for any unforeseen delays (weather, traffic, patient emergency etc).
~The cost of visits are the same for virtual visits. A platform needs to be accessible for such visits at a cost to the practice. While virtual visits can be more convenient, more accessible, remove barriers to receiving care, provide the same individualized time and expertise as in-person visits, there may be more time needed outside the visit to provide electronic handouts or instructions that the patient otherwise would be given at an in-person visit.

Lab Results:
Discussing Lab Results involves review of the results, interpretation of the results from an Integrative-Holistic/Functional Medicine perspective, which focuses more on "optimal" results not just "normal" results and finally treatment recommendations. Prior to your visit, the provider has already invested 1 hour of time interpreting the results and developing an individualized treatment plan. An investment has already been made into your care with a great deal of time and expertise prior to your visit. Therefore instead of charging for all that time, there it is a flat $119 fee for a visit up to 1 hour. If additional time is needed beyond the 1 hour visit, the fee will be at the "additional time" rate, as listed. In some instances, there may only be one or two simple lab tests ordered and in those cases there may be an adjustment, but this will be determined in advance and decided on a case by case basis. Therefore, please address your questions in advance of going to have your blood drawn. Payment is due at the time of your consultation.

Phone Calls, Emails, Telemedicine Visits
Patients may call the office or email through the patient portal for brief questions or treatment clarification. The practice tries to accommodate questions at no charge. However patients with questions that require lengthy responses will be charged in 15 minute increments for the time it requires to follow up and reply to the questions.
($48 per 15 minutes).
Patients who are seeking answers to detailed questions are encouraged to schedule an appointment for either an office consultation or a telephone consultation. It is appreciated if emails are quick and concise with a yes or no question whenever possible.
Telehealth visits are available for visits at the discretion of the provider. These should be scheduled on an individual basis.
Telephone and Telehealth Consultations and E-mail Communication are all billable services. Therefore, the fee for these are the same as an office visit and based on time and complexity. Credit Card information is collected at the beginning of the visit and is charged at the end of the visit.
Additional services, such as extensive research, chart reviews and patient advocacy services are charged at $200/hour for a minimum of 1 hour.
If travel is necessary there is an additional fee based on the distance.

New Patient Visit is focused on obtaining a thorough history and exam or assessment and evaluating the needs of the patient. There is an abundance of information to gather and process, and in collaboration with the patient, a plan of care is developed. There may be additional research done after the visit in order to further develop and personalize the plan of care for the patient.
If supplements are recommended for the patient, it is most beneficial for the patient to begin them as soon as possible in order to begin restoring the body to its optimal functioning. In order to prevent cost from being a barrier to starting recommended therapies, a New Patient Discount is offered for supplements if ordered during the first visit and paid for the same day. Patients are not required to purchase supplements from the provider or the dispensary available, it is provided as a convenience to the patient. The provider may There are no guaranteed results, and supplements are not intended are not FDA approved and are not intended to diagnose or treat any specific disease.
Insurance does not pay for holistic-integrative medicine. You may request a receipt if you would like to submit it to your flexible spending account or health savings account. However, the practice does not participate with Medicare and receipts may not be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
Payments are expected on the day of the visit.
Virtual Visits & Telephone Consultations are billed at the beginning of the visit via your credit card.
There is a returned check fee of $50. A no-show fee of up to $50 will be charged for patients who fail to arrive for their scheduled appointment or have not cancelled 24 hours in advance.

*All New Patients should allow 1 week prior to their first appointment time to complete forms and have the appropriate forms returned to the practice 3-5 days in advance of their appointment. These forms are reviewed prior to the appointment to optimize time with the patient during the visit.
