2017 Complete colonies for sale - Nottingham (40 colonies) SOLD
I have strong full colonies with hives for sale.
25 english hives. Hives contains 2 brood boxes with DN4 frames full of honey and bees.
Also I have 15 Hungarian "NB" size also full and strong colonies in - with honey space.
All colonies have honey. It is not going to be extracted. They all have feeders too.
The Queens are from 2015 and 2016.
I would like £7000 for them if taken all by one buyer (£1000 in advance £6000 on collection) - and will give the tools with them.
Otherwise £225 each for the English size hive (£25 in advance £200 on collection)
And £205 each for the Hungarian size hives (£25 in advance £180 on collection).

2017 Top Bar nucs Nottingham (of M1)
Topbar nucs for sale.
I currently have 2, maybe 3, overwintered nucs of best east midlands mongrels available
now for £200 (£20 in advance £180 on collection) + £50 for the nuc box (refundable on return).
They will need to be collected from Castle Donington as they cannot be shipped. Colonies may
be crosscombed as they have been in these boxes since July last summer.

Defra inspected Sept 2015 and treated for Varroa.

2014 3 large colonies 3 nucs near Nottingham
My Nottingham bee keeper writes:
"I have 3 large colonies of bees for sale in Poly Langstroth hives as sold by Modern Beekeeping. What you will get is a complete hive with 4 "medium" boxes. Use 2 below a QX as the brood and the top 2 as supers. They have varroa floors and an inspection tray. There is also a top feeder for each hive which is included in the price. This is also sold by Modern Beekeeping. All the equipment has been painted in the green masonry paint recommended by Modern Beekeeping.
I also have 3 strong nucs in boxes from Modern Beekeeping. The nucs take full size Langstroth frames although most are on 3/4 size frames. Each nuc comes with a divider so that you can use as 1 x 6 frame or 2 x 3 frame. Each nuc also comes with a top feeder to fit the nuc. The nucs have open mesh floors. 2014 Two top bar nucs posted 27/5/2014
Currently I have 2 spring colonies (building up nicely), each with a laying intact unmarked queen, for sale. These are 17" top bar nucs with 5 bars (though depending when they are collected there may not be comb on all the bars). Comb is only connected to the top bars and occasionally braced to the sloping sides so they cannot be posted but should be collected from north west Leicestershire (near M1 J24). On the border between Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
£200 per colony (£50 non-refundable deposit to secure, £50 refundable cash deposit on the nuc box and £150 cash on collection for each colony).
These colonies are from sustainably managed hives that have all overwintered at least one winter and have never needed chemical treatment.
