SCHOOL UNIFORM
At Holy Trinity School, there is a mandatory school uniform. The reasons for such a policy are the following:
Respect for both the individual and school is manifested by a mind-set of “dressing up” for school. Therefore, the dress code has an impact on a student’s attitude as well as their behaviour. A neat personal appearance reflects a positive image of our school to the community. It also helps to reduce differences among children in regard to fashion.
The Holy Trinity dress code is based on neatness, cleanliness and safety. Families are responsible for keeping their child's uniform neat and clean in appearance. If clothes/shoes get torn or stained, they must be repaired or replaced. (See p.24 for contact information and location of Cambridge Uniforms.)
Students attending Holy Trinity School are expected and required to wear the school uniform to school, while at school, and when going home from school each day. The only time it is acceptable for a student not to adhere to the above is if they have gym during either the first period or last period of the day, when the teacher may permit them to wear their gym strip either to or from school. Students are to refrain from the use of makeup and nail polish.
