Parents are invited to attend our Monday morning assesmbly at 9:05am to watch their child receive their Cross Country award.
Thank you to all students who participated in Cross Country this year! Our Cross Country season is now finished. Thanks to all our team members who have been training after school for the last month. We had a great turnout and concentrated effort from all the runners. We had a Meet last week at Mahon park, and the season culminated yesterday with the CISVA Meet at Swangard stadium. With thirty-seven CISVA schools competing, each race had as many as 148 athletes competing. Athletes ran a course from the stadium out to the trails in Burnaby's Central Park. Holy Trinity finished 8th overall, which is a very good result thanks to the stamina and determination of all our athletes. We have not tabulated all the results but the CISVA has provided the list of the top 10 in each race. Girl power was evident with big finishes from Emma P in grade 2 in 10th place, Addie L in grade 4 in 8th, McKenna W in grade 5 in 3rd, and Veronica M. in grade 7 with 2nd place! Gabriel P recieved 7th place! Way to go team!
The Cross Country season has begun. Students in grades 2 - 7 are eligible to join the team. Practices are after school from 3:00 - 3:45 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Students are asked to attend at least 2 practices a week, or all three! The practices take place in the school neighbourhood on a pre-set route. Along the route there will be staff and parent supervisors. (See Map Below) If your child did not join the team and would still like to, please email
