Human Trafficking
Here is the situation. We have been sending to area parishes bulletin announcements that pray for various aspects of human trafficking and we wonder if they ever make their way into the bulletins.
The month of August is vacation for many but for some traffickers are busier than ever, buying and selling men, women, and children for financial gain. About 700,000, primarily women and children, are trafficked annually within or across international borders.
Call 888-373-7888. if you suspect a person being trafficked.
