Opportunities in the Lab

There are currently opportunities in the lab for highly motivated, independent undergraduate and graduate students, passionate about research topics on Neotropical freshwater fishes. Prospective students interested in macroevolution and phenotypic evolution, phylogenomics and novel collections-based approaches for studying of Neotropical freshwater fish diversity are encouraged to contact me. I am interested in hearing from prospective students with a strong affinity for the research lines in my lab or in pursuing collaborative research with other labs.

Prospective graduate student applicants should be able to demonstrate strong academic achievements, relevant previous training or research experience, and a clear passion for research and career development. A demonstrable ability to work independently is essential. Prospective applicants should contact me by email with a statement of interests, a CV or resumé, and unofficial transcripts. Potential applicants to the graduate program please also check this important application information at the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Michigan
