RULES

• Teams consist of a maximum of 12 members, with 6 members playing each round.
• A round consists of 12 questions.
• Each team has 20 seconds to answer after each question.
• A question answered incorrectly is passed across to the other team, who then have 10 seconds to answer.
• Correct answer scores : 2 points for the correct title and 1 point for the correct author. A maximum of 2 points can be scored for passover questions.
• The winner of the competition is the team accruing the most points.

TYPHOON AND RAIN WARNING PROCEDURES:

In the event of a Typhoon 8 or Red/Black Rain warning, please follow the HK Education Board protocol. Should this occur on the day of a semi-final, the competition for that section will be cancelled.

However, should this happen on the day of a final the committee will endeavour to re-schedule the event. In this instance, further instructions will be posted on the website.
