HITOSHI OMORI
This is the website of Hitoshi OMORI. I'm a postdoctoral researcher in logic based in Department of Philosophy at Kyoto UniversityMy project is funded by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and is hosted by Professor Yasuo Deguchi. Before arriving in Kyoto in April, 2015, I was based in Philosophy Program at The Graduate CenterCity University of New York as a postdoctoral researcher funded by JSPS, and was working with Professor Graham Priest. From June, 2013 to January, 2014, I was visiting Department of Philosophy II, Ruhr-Universität Bochum working with Professor Heinrich WansingI did my PhD at Tokyo Institute of Technology under the supervision of Professor Toshiharu Waragai, and spent a year as a postdoc at Group of Logic, Statistics and InformaticsKobe University (mentor: Professor Makoto Kikuchi) before I arrived in New York in August, 2012. My research interest lies in non-classical logic, especially paraconsistent logic, many-valued logic and modal logic.
