The commitment of several NGO's to the blind and disabled is unparalleled, with service projects covering a wide range of basic needs - Medical Care, Shelter, Food and even employment.

HiTECH FOUNDATION is pleased to provide a platform & to act as a facilitaing agency for this very special project - "11th All Mumbai Special School Children's Talent Show" by these very special students.

Though serving these essential needs is the first step in improving the quality of life for special portion of the populations, it could be argued that the need for recreation and sports activities is just as great.

This activities may not seem like basic needs, but to the disadvantaged. Such diversion often mean the difference between succumbling to physical limitations and breaking them with confidence. These recreational activities - Singing, Dancing and Music are like "A Ray of Light".

Several NGO's throughout the world and in Mumbai - HiTECH FOUNDATION is providing that kind of physical and mental boost. Through fund raising efforts, planning and organisation, HiTECH Foundation has made significant advances in providing physical and other activities for the handicapped since 1995.

The specially - adapted Cultural / Talent Show, for the Mentally Impaired, offers significant recreational opportunities.

"You can do anything at this event that the able bodied can do" says Ms Mita Bali Principal Samarpan Special School.

In this environment, they can be independent because the auditorium and the audience is equipped to handle their special needs, This really improves their confidence".

Even Special Teachers gets motivated when their students perform on stage and they get satisfaction as their efforts are recognised" says Ms. Anuradha Jatar Principal Sulbha Special School
