Henrik Hirschberg was born June 27, 1960 in Budapest, Hungary.
The Elementary and High School education took place in Budapest. At age eighteen,
he received his High School Diploma in 1978.
While in High School he also attended the „Béla Bartók Konzervatórium” and received
a music degree from this school.
In 1979 he applied to the prestigious „Ferenc Liszt Music Academy” and was accepted to study piano. He received a Diploma with the highest degree in 1984.
He also participated in numerous international „Master-classes”, such as: A. Jenner in Vienna, T. Hazay in Switzerland, and Professors Gy. Sebők and T. Vásáry in Budapest.
Between 1987 and 1992 he participated in the „Master-class” of Mr.Roberto Szidon in the Music Academy of Hannover, Germany.
In 1984 with the music degree from the Liszt Ferenc Academy, he receieved a teaching position in the Music Conservatory of Szombathely, Hungary.
In 1988 he became Professor of music in the above school.
Artistic achievements are as follows:
- Solo-pianist (Germany, Netherland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Hungary)
- Pianist with the „Savaria Symphony Orchestra” and „Camerata Pro Musica” (Hungary, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Turkey, Slovakia)
- Participant in Opera-festivals as a pianist (Austria, Hungary)
- Member of chamber music groups
- „Artist of the Year” prize - 1996 and 2000 Sárvár, Hungary.
He is married since 1989, his wife Agnes Vinter is also a music teacher. They live in Sárvár, Hungary and are the parents of two children. Adam - was born in 1990, and Anna - born in 1992.
Hobbies are: music, reading, nature and languages (literary translation).
