I am Dr. Hiran V Nath. I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut, Kerala. I have completed my PhD from  IDRBT & Hyderabad Central University. I have taken part in various cybersecurity research initiatives under the guidance of Dr B M Mehtre at IDRBT, Hyderabad. This includes 

• starting cyber drills for various banks in India as part of IBCART & CISO forums at IDRBT

• carrying out training for banking employees at IDRBT on cyber security and forensics, &

• also carrying out VAPT activities for various banking applications.

We have also filed two US patents titled, System and method for zero-day privilege escalation malware detection, US9959406B2 & System and method for detection and prevention of data breach and ransomware attacks, US10262139B2, & got it awarded.
