Neighborhood Watch
Hillside Neighborhood Watch
Our official neighborhood network began in April, 2008, in response to a rash of burglaries in our quiet little neighborhood. The effort was spearheaded by Hillside Road neighbor Carol Yohanan. Since then, we have networked with police and local authorities to gain official watch-group status, attained signs for the neighborhood, designated block captains, and formed a Google Group online forum for asking questions, sharing information, and neighborhood news.
Networking ensures a safer community for us all!

Our neighbors to the southeast have a very successful Watch organization. Their Web site is full of safety tips and information on crime in the 'hood. Rather than me compiling it again for our group, here is a link to theirs!
