I participated in many outreach events in Southern California, including:
- "Experience Science Day" with graduate students from EEOB, as a part of the First Sundays series at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum
- Riverside Unified School District Science Fair Expo
- Pomona Unified School District Science Fair Expo
- multiple school-wide Science Fairs
- Riverside Districtwide Science Fair
- Moreno Valley Districtwide Science Fair
I was Outreach Co-coordinator of our graduate association (EEOBGSA) 2013-2015 and our outreach team received an award for Outstanding Commitment to Higher Education Outreach for the academic year 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 from the UC Riverside Student Life department.
I am also a part of IDEA, the Institute for the Development of Educational Applications.
