Hello, I am Hilary. I was born in Sylvania, Sydney, Australia, New South Wales, 15th March 1948.

I began singing in bands when i was about 18 yrs old, though had begun vocalising at a much earlier age during my school years in the school choir. I was married from 1973-2002 and have two beautiful daughters as a result of this union. In 1983 my health began to mysteriously deteriorate as I began to suffer unexplainable symptoms of a then very rare condition (severe pseudo hyper-parathyroid syndrome). Cured of the illness in 1997 and under ongoing specialist supervision, my mobility has become somewhat limited due to pain and joint damage caused by the long illness.

Retired from the workforce since 2003 due to redundancy and health (post-parathyroidism maintenance) related issues, I now enjoy doing all the things I had no time to do when I was working full time, and that also involves everything to do with being a mother and grandma and enjoying the music with other musicians, family and friends from time to time.

In 2017, I hung up my bass guitar due to arthritis and carpal tunnel and torn shoulder muscles. I have a great interest in the music of my musician friends and often help out with providing printed lyrics for songs when needed. I still play my bass (short scale Ashton, 150w CRATE bass combo) at home for my own enjoyment though I am not capable to perform at gigs for obvious reasons. I love to watch other musicians perform.

My other interests are computers, as I also enjoy desktop publishing duties as the editor of a local car club, providing them with their bi-monthly magazine. In the past, I have also created websites for others who needed something simple. 

From time to time, I like to jam with some of my musician friends and they don’t mind as long as I promise not to sing LOL….that’s kind of rusty too LOL…due to lack of use LOL.  But as you can see, my sense of humour is still good LOL.
