Membership

Membership Applications

  • All new Highton Tennis Club memberships are subject to Executive Committee approval.

  • To apply, prospective senior members should fill in the application form [attached bottom of page] and return it either to the club in person, by email to hightontennis@gmail.com or by mail to PO BOX 6165 HIGHTON 3216 VICTORIA.

  • Prospective Junior members should complete the registration form on the Juniors Page instead.

  • Once approved by the Executive Committee you will then be contacted to complete the remainder of the application process.

Membership Enquiries

  • Junior enquiries should be addressed to Brian Spong, Junior Coordinator at: htcjuniors@gmail.com

  • For senior enquiries it is usually best to enquire in person at the club on Thursday nights from 7pm and ask for Mark Charles or Leanne Shelton. Club representatives are also in attendance most Saturday Afternoons around 1pm.

Membership Categories

  • Adult/Senior Player Membership

  • Family Membership (May include 2 x Adults and up to 4 x juniors from the one family)

  • Student Membership (Student Card to be produced during sign-up)

  • Junior Membership (Includes: all Junior Competition players)

  • Concession (Concession Card must be produced during sign-up)

  • Social Membership (all non-playing members)

    • all playing memberships entitle the member to play in multiple HTC Competitions.

Membership Fees

  • Adult/Senior player membership is $120 per year

  • Family Membership is $320 per year

  • Junior / Student / Concession Membership is $ 70 per year

  • Social Membership is $70 per year (for non-playing members)

    • All of the above membership fees include the Tennis Victoria Insurance fee.

  • For renewing members, payment is due on the 1st of October each year and is valid for twelve months. If payment is not made within four weeks of the due date the unpaid member may not be allowed to play in any competition at the club until fees are fully paid. This is due to administrative and Public Liability issues.

  • Payments can be made by cheque, posted to Highton Tennis Club Inc, P.O BOX 6165 Highton 3216, or payment in person can be arranged.

  • A full year membership is required for new members signing on between October 1st and March 31st. A pro-rata fee will be charged for new memberships commencing between April 1st and September 30th.


Tennis Victoria Membership

  • Highton Tennis Club is affiliated with Tennis Victoria and every financial member is given a Tennis Victoria Membership.

  • Membership covers the club for Public Liability Insurance and gives the member a Personal Accident Insurance Policy as well as other benefits. See the Tennis Victoria Website for more details.


Club constitution

  • Highton Tennis Club adopted a new club constitution at the 2018 AGM held 27 August 2018. A copy of this document is attached below "Rules - HTC Inc - July 2018".
