Highton Tennis Club is proud to offer Open Court Sessions in February and March 2020!

Highton Tennis Club is located on the corner of Barrabool and South Valley Roads, Highton and is one of the biggest community tennis clubs in Geelong. We proudly manage a beautiful new clubhouse and 6 floodlit courts at Highton. 

The club is also proud to manage another six courts at Pioneer Park, which is located opposite Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, next to the Leisure Link swimming pool and Waurn Ponds Library.



Highton Tennis Club invites you to take part in Open Court Sessions.

There's food, drinks, pumping music and occasionally - some tennis.

Open Court Sessions is a new and fun way to fit a casual hit into your busy lifestyle.

Designed to encourage more adults onto the court, Open Court Sessions is tennis with a modern twist. Each session is run by enthusiastic hosts who keep the range of fun activities flowing both on and off the court.

All equipment is provided. All skill levels welcome.

With the focus on the social side being as important as the tennis itself, Open Court Sessions is a perfect way to stay active while catching up with your friends, family and work mates.

The Bunnings BBQ in Waurn Ponds was a great success.

We ran the BBQ all day on Sunday 14th July 2019.

We sold about 60kgs of snags with a total income of around $1800.00

Well done to all Highton Tennis Club members involved.




The 2018/19 Club Championships were held in March/April 2019.

Junior Club Championships RESULTS:

Congratulations to all participants. The day was a great success. 

A Grade Boys Final

  • Jamie Heaton defeated Luke McNabb 6-2, 4-6, 6-3

A Grade Girls Final

  • Elaine Ly defeated Sara Chol 6-1, 6-3

B Grade Boys Final

  • Joel McKiernan defeated Brandt Dyer 18 Games to 13 Games (Round Robin)
