This section provides publicly available documents such as the Covenants, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations for use by owners and prospective owners.
This is a casual "quick start" guide to our community. It is not legal advice or formal policy and does not replace the requirement to read and understand the governing documents.
The HMOA maintains records in accordance with West Virginia Code. To request records not available on this page, please read these guidelines prior to making your request. The Board will make every effort to fulfill your request in a timely manner. Please remember we are an all-volunteer Board made up of your fellow community members.
The Board is empowered by the Association to pass and amend Rules and Regulations. Rules and Regulations are intended to support our covenants, bylaws, and allow smooth operation of the community and common property.
Our Bylaws govern the operation of the Association.
These covenants apply to Lot 1-24 and 26-39.
There is no Lot 25.
These covenants apply to Lot 40-53 and 55-59. Lot 54 is not governed by the Upper or Lower covenants, but it is part of the HMOA.
These Covenants, being written to establish a uniform plan of development for High Mountain Development, are essentially identical to the Lower Section Covenants.
