My approach to education is discipline-based (historical) and multicultural. I utilize community -based resources and encourage students to strive for their personal best in order to
achieve excellence. Based on the New York State Learning Standards for the Arts I create a productive learning environment as well as exposing students to community cultural resources such as museums and entering their work in exhibits, including internet exhibits.
I can work independently and as a part of a team, collaborating with co-workers and communicating effectively with children’s families. I work well with students from a variety of
cultures, including those for whom English is a second language.
I can work with learning or physically disabled students as well as gifted students.
