Strategy:
This game appears to be very simply and even childish. There is truly a lot of strategy which players can use within the game to win.
· Generally most players will play highest cards first, as they have less ‘pick up’ value. Example a King can not pickup any other card. A queen once matched can only pick up a King.
· Aces are the most valuable card and very commonly one of the last cards played. They have the most ‘pick up’ value and can not be picked up by any other card.
· A player can place a card on the table of like value as his/her pile in order to protect their pile. (because cards must be picked from table first before any other players pile)
· Players informally work together to ‘force’ a player with a large pile of cards to pickup when their face value card is not something which they can pickup via matching something on the table. This is done by the other players not picking up any cards to the point that the player with the large pile must match and pickup a card on the table and change his/her face card of their pile
