Welcome to my web page. I am an Economist in the Enterprise Analysis Unit of the Development Economics Indicators Group of the World Bank. My areas of specialization are development economics and international trade. My specific research interests include: (1) understanding the sources of productivity differences at the firm, industry, and country level; (2) understanding the sources and effects of business regulatory reforms; and (3) analyzing the effects of trade and investment liberalization on various firm-level and macroeconomic outcomes. I received my PhD in Economics from Maastricht University.
