Hell Hath No Hurry - June 29, 2019

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." - John Muir

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.” - Henry David Thoreau

"We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the dark to our success." - Henry David Thoreau

June 29, 2019 - Cayuga Grove - Settlers Cabin Park - Pittsburgh, PA

Hard to believe this will be the 10th running of the "Hell Hath No Hurry" Trail Challenge. Thanks to everyone who has participated in the past and looking forward to meeting all future participants. Nothing is going to change with the distances this year, we will have the 10k, 30k, 50k, 50 mile and 50 mile relay(with the same stipulation that the last loop must be run together) again this year. Still working out the swag for this year, but it will be very cool. Awards will be the custom metal with name plates going out to longer distance finishers a few weeks after the race. We are also planning to have a post race BBQ complete with burgers, dogs, and beer from Helicon Brewing located in Oakdale.

Please email me directly if you volunteered last year and I can get you free entry for this years race. Also, race directors of races trail or ultra events can get free entry into this event. Also looking for volunteers but look for a new way to register to volunteer.

Thanks to everyone who has come out and either participated in or volunteered in this race. I hope that you consider coming out again this year and spending another day in the woods!

Sincerely,

Peter Kozlowski

Race Director
