Roses are thought to have originated in Central Asia and are among the oldest cultivated flowers, with evidence suggesting they were cultivated as early as 3,000 BCE in China. They spread to Europe and other parts of the world, becoming symbols of love, beauty, and various other cultural meanings. The rose has been a significant plant in history, used for medicine, perfume, and decorative purposes.
