HELP mission statement:
Ceaselessly trying to make world a better place to live for all
why & where did 'HELP' start?
In 1999, Shri. Saurabh Kautilya Gupta along with his mother; two ordinary middle-class-family persons; made a simple decision to change the lives of India's underprivileged lives. This was how HELP began.
Saurabh chose not to fund a grassroots-level implementing organization working directly with and for the underprivileged. Instead, he opted to make HELP a channel or a link between the millions of individuals who could provide resources and the thousands of dedicated fieldworkers who were struggling to function for lack of them. He saw HELP's role as "enabler" and in so doing created an institution that is a unique model of a community movement that takes responsibility for its weakest and most vulnerable members and motivates and catalyzes change on their behalf.
