During my time at Navient, one of the entities we held at the time, Duncan Solutions, had us develop a site called Illinois Tollway Vehicle Dispute, allowing users to dispute vehicle tollway violations. You may test the site out here:
For my Web Page Programming III class, I developed a website about a fictitious restaurant called Downtown Restaurant. The pictures I use on the site are open source. The image displayed here is the Home page, which features a slideshow. The catering form utilizes JavaScript. I use JQuery for the shopping cart on the Merchandise page. On the Contact Us page, I've embedded a Google map of a fake address in Atlanta, where the restaurant is supposedly located. The entire website can be downloaded upon request.
In addition, I made a video demonstration of this project, which can be downloaded below.
Here is a logo I made for Yuley's Interesting Things for a friend of mine. The heart image I use is free from Pixabay.
I created this banner for my friend Jennifer for her page on the site beautytap, which sells beauty products. (The site automatically adds her photo to the banner)
Here is some ASCII art I implemented using C#, which is one of the numerous problems presented to us to solve on CodinGame:
I wrote four variations of a program in C++ of an Inventory class that I made for a Programming Concepts II course that demonstrate overloading the extraction (>>) operator to work with the Inventory class as well as my knowledge of exception (error) handling. Here is a screenshot of one of the program versions along with its program run:
The following is a snapshot of MS SQL Server code as well as that of the CUSTOMER table from a database I created named ABC Markets that sells products to customers that I made for my Database Programming IV class. Customer #10010 purchased a product that cost $110 + 8% sales tax on 5/11/10. The customer later made a payment of $100 (not pictured) on 6/3/10, so that they now have a balance of $18.80 on their account, and these transactions are updated in several tables, including the CUSTOMER table pictured. I also have experience creating triggers and stored procedures in PL/SQL for MS SQL Server.
Here is a screenshot of my Swift Fitness Chick app (which I don't plan on launching publicly) that I'm creating for my Capstone. I created this app using the Master Detail Flow. The app utilizes a Google API to display a Google map as well as link to my YouTube playlist of workout videos.
Below is the title slide I helped create for Independence University's 2019 First Annual Halloween Costume Contest, the presentation for which I judged and hosted on behalf of the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) and Students Helping Students (SHS). I worked together with other students as a team to put together a PowerPoint presentation of all 203 costume entries.
Below is a flyer I created to remind students to attend Independence University's 2019 1st Annual Holiday Decor Contest. I successfully wrote the proposal for, judged, helped create the PowerPoint presentation of all 403 entries, and hosted the event on behalf of SAC and SHS.
Another flyer I created was for the "Passion for IU" short essay contest, which I also wrote the proposal for, created the PowerPoint for, judged, and hosted:
Below, I volunteered to incorporate the visuals for the Coping with the Coronavirus Mixer PowerPoint presentation.
Here's some art I drew out of my brother and sister's names, Josh and Wendy, that reflects my capacity for creativity:
