Why didnt we use another Media server?

MPD is great,  but it has no upward  ability because it cant do video, plus it has problems with CD access on BBB so far.

libVLC does all that, and video. Plus it has the best cd/dvd playback abilities in the Linux community. And it is a very capable package for Internet radio streams playback.
