Hinsdale Central High School Boys

Cross Country Summer Camp

Under the direction of the Hinsdale Central High School Summer School Program, this camp is open to all incoming Hinsdale Central High School students as well as returning runners. Applications can be printed off theHinsdale Central athletic website and turned in to the Athletic Office at the high school.

We will meet at the Hinsdale Central outdoor track for the first day of summer camp (typically in early June). Runners will receive a summer calendar at this time.

Cross Country Camp of Champions

University of Wisconsin – Madison

Last year, 13 members of the Hinsdale Central Cross Country team participated at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Cross Country Camp of Champions. At 35 years old, it is one of the country's oldest camps of its kinds. The camp's purpose is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. The camp is limited to boys and girls entering the 8th grade through freshmen year in college.

Two camp sessions are offered during the month of July. The dates for 2010 are July 19-24 (Session I) and July 26-31 (Session II). Typically, the Hinsdale team atttends the second session. Please check with Coach Westphal to confirm the dates for 2010. For more information, visit the Cross Country Camp of Champions website. Information on who from the team will be attending and when, will be available early in the summer. Group cost is $425 per runner and includes tuition, lunch and dinner, group insurance and T-shirt.
