Rancho Los Mochos, located in the hills above Livermore, CA is home to many training courses, Cub Scout camping activities and Spring Camporees. Rancho Los Mochos has many large camp areas, making it ideal for troop, as well as multi-troop functions. Campgrounds feature fire rings for ground fires (restricted use during high fire danger periods), picnic tables and piped water.
Camp Royaneh is located in the majestic coastal redwoods near Cazadero, CA. In addition to operating six weeks of Boy Scout residence camp, two weeks of Cub Scout Adventure Camp, and one weekend of Family Vacation Camp, Royaneh is available for unit use throughout the year. There are 13 campsites with latrines, picnic tables, and piped water.
Wente Scout Reservation is located in the hills outside of Willits, CA. The 2200 acres and the 80 acre lake offer great opportunities for camping. In addition to operating eight weeks of Boy Scout residence camp and three weekends of Family Vacation Camp, Wente Scout Reservation is available for unit use throughout the year. There are 14 campsites with latrines, picnic tables, and water.
Established in 1930, Camp Herms is located in the hills at the edge of El Cerrito. The camp overlooks the entire San Francisco Bay Area. The camp is open year-round for council, district, and unit activities including training courses, Cub Scout camps, and unit camping. It can be used as the hub for visits to local historical sites, San Francisco and the surrounding area. The facilities include a large meeting lodge with kitchen, campsites, sleeping shelters, and shooting ranges (archery & BB guns). Camp Herms is also the starting point for the Fages (Fa-Hace) Historic Trail.
