Code
The goal of this page is to (eventually) provide R code for some of my papers. If you would like code for a paper not listed below, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Quick, H. (2019). "Estimating county-level mortality rates using highly censored data from CDC WONDER.'' Prev. Chronic Dis., 16:180441. [pcd]
A walkthrough of the code used for this analysis and a technical appendix is provided here.
Fall 2021: A faster version of the code used in this analysis is currently under development.
Quick, H., Holan, S.H., and Wikle, C.K. (2018). “Generating partially synthetic geocoded public use data with decreased disclosure risk using differential smoothing.” J. Roy. Statist. Soc., Ser. A (Statistics in Society), 181, 649-661. [jrss-a]
Quick, H., Waller, L.A., and Casper, M. (2017). “Multivariate spatiotemporal modeling of age-specific stroke mortality.” Ann. Appl. Stat, 11, 2170-2182. [aoas]
A .zip file containing an example from Quick and Waller (2018+) using publicly-available data can be found here. Tips for how to fit the model can be found in the "Share/comments" directory. It should be noted that this code is quite slow, but I'm optimistic that a faster version will be available ~soon. (Last updated 06/13/2018)
Fall 2021 Update: A faster version is currently under development -- I promise!
Quick, H., Huynh, T., and Ramachandran, G. (2017). “A method for constructing informative priors for Bayesian modeling of occupational hygiene data.” The Annals of Work Exposures and Health, 61, 67-75. [annweh]
R code and WinBUGS code corresponding to the illustrative example in Section 4 (Last updated 09/16/2016)
