At the bottom is a spreadsheet showing the dates HW and Quiz assignments are made and their due dates/times, and deadlines for taking and turning in the proctored tests. You may always work ahead. More details are below and in the syllabus.

Submit at least part of one assignment on 9/7/10, or the previous weekend to show you are attending the first day of class.

There are many resources in MML to help you learn...see Student Resources and How to Get Help links as well as all the help in Learn the Material. A Study Plan is generated for you based on how well you do on quizzes, too!

For each HW assignment in CC, first go to Learn the Material to read the e-text, and to view the powerpoint slides, examples and videos. Once you have studied the material and feel you understand it, go to DO HW. Each HW has a prerequisite. Students should turn in assignments by the due date, but you may work on past due HW assignments. There is no penalty for turning HW in late. The final deadline to submit any HW is 11:59 pm on Monday, 12/13/10.

Quizzes MUST be submitted by noon on the due date listed, and may not be taken late. To allow for one emergency, I drop the lowest quiz score.

Quizzes are in the Take a Quiz link. It is important to be up-to-date on HW in order to be prepared to take a quiz on a chapter.

Test 1, Test 2, Test 3, and the Final must be taken in the MLC. If you want to take a test earlier than the week listed in the Calendar, let me know and if it is ready, I will send to the MLC early. The MLC is usually open on Saturdays and Monday-Thursday evenings, as well as during the day Monday through Friday. See their website for hours and more info at http://hub.miracosta.edu/MLC/

You will need to make an appointment to take tests in the MLC. Appointments are given out on a first-come first-served basis. If you wait to call in to get an appointment, you might be forced to take a test earlier than your preferred date/time. If appointments are booked up, you'll have to take whatever is still available. Make sure you read and follow directions in Test Info link in CC.

Deadline to turn in Test 1 (1.1-1.4 and 2.1-2.5) to MLC staff: Saturday, 10/2, 4:30pm

Deadline to turn in Test 2 (3.1-3.3 and 4.1-4.4)to MLC staff: Saturday, 10/30, 4:30pm

Deadline to turn in Test 3 (5.1-5.6) to MLC staff: Saturday, 11/20, 4:30pm

Deadline to turn in Final Exam (1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.5, 3.1-3.3, 4.1-4.4, 5.1-5.6, 6.1-6.3) to MLC staff: Monday, 12/13, 8:30pm
