PHDs

UNSW PhD program

To start a PhD with me UNSW, you are expected to have a BSc/MSc degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. For example, students with economics degrees with sufficient background in algorithmic game theory may also be suitable. A strong mathemarical background is required and excellent grades in courses on algorithms, discrete mathematics etc. are desirable.

Please also look into Postgraduate Research Scholarships at UNSW.

UNSW also has a Scientia PhD Scholarship scheme. Please check with me whether there is a suitable project in this scheme which you could apply for.


HEC Scholarships

Pakistani students can apply for HEC scholarships in conjunction with their application to UNSW. 


CSC scholarships

Chinese students can apply for a CSC scholarship in conjunction with their application to UNSW.

Taste of Research Internships

Undergrad students enrolled at UNSW can apply for Taste of Research Scholarships.


UNSW Honours Students

Students enrolled in the  Computer Science (Honours) program at UNSW can start an honors thesis under my supervision. Students can explore the thesis topics proposed by me or suggest their own topics.

Students enrolled in the  Mathematics (Honours) program at UNSW can start an honors thesis under my supervision. Students can explore the thesis topics proposed by me.


POSTDOCS

CSIRO Postdocs

CSIRO postdoc fellowships provide support for up to three years. Applicants who have a strong research record and whose research interests are closely aligned to the CSIRO strategic priorities are welcome to get in touch.



VISITORS

Short-Term European Visitors

Members of The European COST Action on Game Theory and Networks are eligible for acquiring funding for short-term visits to member organizations. Data61, CSIRO is part of the network.

If your research has strong connections with my research topics and you are interested to visit Sydney, you can check with me if I can contribute to your trip.
