Dr. Hao Lan is Associate Professor of Economics at the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China.
His primary research area is the industrial organisation of food markets, with a particular focus on price dynamics, price promotions, and cost pass-through, using time-series analysis of food scanner data. His second research area is energy and macroeconomics, where methodological development also plays a central role.
He is also experienced in the use of Stata, EViews, and R.
