Message from the President

Welcome back new and returning Golden Bears, parents, teachers, and administration for another great school year at Hammond High School.   We are happy to be back at school for the 23-24 school year and are excited to see the interior of the school after additional renovations.

 The purpose of the PTSA is to facilitate parental participation in our high school. In order to best facilitate this, for the current school year, we are joining forces with Hammond Boosters.  Both PTSA and Boosters feel that the 2 organizations will be best represented by working hand in hand.  I would like to invite all of you to attend our combined monthly PTSA meetings held on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 in the Media Center.  The Boosters hold their meeting 1st and the PTSA 2nd.  Our meetings provide a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents and get informed about things going on at Hammond.

The 2 groups have many opportunities for parents, staff, and students to get involved in our school community

I look forward to meeting and getting to know you at our meetings and around the school. Thank you for your support, and let’s make 2023-2024 a terrific year to remember!
