Chris Scheibe – Hawks Ultimate Head Coach
Chris first discovered ultimate two decades ago in college as an intramural player on a lark and then later for Georgia Tech's men's club team. Realizing this was a perfect fit culturally and competitively he threw himself into it, playing year round across college, club, and whatever leagues he could find (even across state lines). He has a deep appreciation for ultimate's community which is built on mutual respect, honesty, and sportsmanship and is proud to share those with his kids and their peers as a coach since 2022.
Nate Peek – Hawks Ultimate Coach
I started playing ultimate at Syracuse many many years ago. Continued playing after college for about 7 yrs in DC then took a 10 year break focusing more on my music/ drumming. We moved to Seattle in 2017 where my oldest started playing at Green Lake then at Hamilton. At Hamilton I began coaching with Kevin Ramsey (7th) then Mike + Julia Nash (7/8th). And this past fall I coached with Emelie Sandoz Voyer. Looking forward to the spring season and seeing these 6th graders get better at this awesome sport!

Emilie Sandoz-Voyer – Hawks Ultimate Coach
Emilie first dabbled in ultimate as a way to fulfill a high school PE credit, but really fell in love with the sport after college. She has played in rec leagues in Chicago, Oakland, San Francisco, and Seattle for going on eighteen years, taking breaks when her kids were born, then forcing them to sit on the sidelines in all weather for most of their childhood. She coaches both elementary and middle school and loves that ultimate emphasizes positive spirit alongside competitive play.

Since then, he's enjoyed playing rec league ultimate in Oakland, San Francisco, and now Seattle, where he's lived with his family since 2013. A dedicated ultimate enthusiast, Robo has had his kids cheering from the sidelines—rain or shine—since they were toddlers. He’s been sharing his love of ultimate as a coach since 2020.
Roy Tromble – Hawks Ultimate Coach
Roy began coaching Ultimate in Fall 2023. He and Nicole have four children who collectively started middle school in 2019 and will finish in 2030. Roy learned to play at the University of Idaho with pick-up games and intramurals, and returned to the sport in 2023 after a long hiatus. He appreciates that Ultimate is self-refereed and emphasizes the spirit of the game. In addition to Ultimate, he enjoys basketball, skiing, and juggling.

After college, Tim continued playing at the club level with teams based in Seattle and Texas. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to compete at the highest national and international levels, gaining valuable experience and a deeper appreciation for the sport. He still enjoys playing today with a local Seattle men’s team.
Tim began coaching elementary school ultimate in 2022 and joined the HIMS ultimate program in the fall of 2024. He enjoys sharing what he’s learned with younger players and helping them build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Loriana Berman– Hawks Ultimate Coach
Loriana played high school Volleyball and Tennis, and went on to play college Volleyball at Claremont McKenna College. More recently, Loriana plays with Henceforth, a Grand Masters (over 37) team made up of previous teammates, which she co-developed and leads. Club Ultimate has taken her around the world as a coach and a competitor, and has provided her with a wealth of community and lifelong friends. She has coached youth in the Middle East through the program, Ultimate Peace, and in Colombia. She has been coaching Elementary and Middle School in Seattle since 2021 and deeply enjoys helping kids develop a love of the game, helping them gain skills and confidence, while witnessing the joy and growth that comes with being a part of a team. *Her son requested she use this photo for her bio.
