2026 Girls Swimming and Diving Registration Information

All athlete families must have an athletic department account before starting the registration process. One account per family is sufficient as multiple members of the same family can be registered on one account. If your family does not currently have an account (no high school athletes in the past), go to whathletics.org to set up an account and to get registration information. Do this before July 1, 2026.

REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL SEASON BEGINS ON JULY 1, 2026.

You must have a current physical on file at Hall in order to register for a team. Physicals are good for 13 months from the date they were given. If your physical is going to expire in the middle of a sports season, you must get another physical before the expiration date in order to continue playing for a team.
During the summer, try to get as much swimming/diving done as possible so that you start the season in reasonably good shape.
Swimming and Diving practice begins on Monday August 24th at the Cornerstone Aquatics Center.
Until school starts you must get yourself to practice each day. Once school starts, there is a practice bus to bring you to Cornerstone on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week. On Wednesdays, due to early dismissal from school, you must get yourself to practice. Practice on all week days will run from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 or 5:30 P.M. Practice will also be held on Saturday mornings from 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM.
When practice is over each day, parents should pick their daughters up at Cornerstone. Parents are not allowed to sit in the stands during practice, so please either sit in the pool lobby or wait in your cars until your daughter is finished each day.

resources and then nutrition guide. There is also a lot of good information available on the web-site regarding supplements. Check it out.

2026 Registration Girls Swim and Dive- The website to go to to register is whathletics.org . Registration starts on July 1, 2026.. In the meantime, parents should open an account on the registration site (if they do not have one already). Parents should get a copy of their daughter's latest physical from their family doctor and have the doctor fill out the physical form. The form is available in the main office at Hall, in the Hall athletic office or online at the Hall athletics website. Physicals for sports are good for 13 months. Physicals should be emailed to the athletic office at hallathletics@whps.org or mailed to the attention of Hall Athletics 975 North Main Street West Hartford, CT 06117. You will not be allowed to register unless there is a physical on file at Hall.. Please note: The form has to be filled out by your doctor whether or not you are getting another physical. There is also a pay to play fee this year. It is $100 per person per sport. Check back in the summer for more information as it becomes available.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Students must use the State of Connecticut Health Assessment Record "HAR-3 Rev. 4/2012" (blue form) for a physical.

2. The front side of the form must be signed by a parent/guardian.

3. The physician must "check" the box on the blue form that states, "this student may participate fully in athletic activities and competitive sports."

4. During the school year if there are any major health changes or concerns, student-athletes may be asked to

provide updated medical clearance.
