Hackberry Hill Elementary School PTA
We enrich our students' learning experiences and provide valuable resources to our teachers and staff, but we can only be successful with your help.
January 15th 5:45 pm - PTA Meeting
Make a difference in your school and your child's life - By participating in the PTA you help your school achieve things they couldn't do without you. Opportunities are abundant to help out, whether it is by donating your time, knowledge, presence at an event or showing that you support the school by becoming a member.
Tap into a network - Parenting is not easy and it helps to share ideas, concerns and perspectives with people who are going through similar experiences. PTA provides the opportunity to meet other parents and caregivers in your community.
It is easy! Click here to join PTA. It only takes a couple of minutes and simply by becoming a PTA member and paying your $10 dues you are helping to raise valuable funds for Hackberry Hill!
PTA meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Childcare is provided to make it even easier for you to join and let your voice be heard. SIT (School Improvement Team) meetings are held directly after the PTA meeting
Super Simple Ways to Help Hackberry Hill
Shop on Amazon! Use Amazon Smile when you shop on Amazon. Once you set up Hackberry Hill PTA to receive donations, when you shop using Amazon Smile you'll be raising money for your school!
Use Nanno! Nanno is an on-demand childcare app to help parents find last-minute childcare by connecting them with available caregivers with whom they share a connection – whether through a friend, colleague, fellow parent, school, etc. The network is invitation-only, and Nanno has invited all Hackberry Hill Elementary parents and teachers/staff to join the Hackberry Hill Elementary “hub” on the Nanno network. When a member of the Hackberry Hill Elementary network books or accepts a job through Nanno, Nanno will donate 10% of its revenue for that job back to Hackberry Hill. If you’re interested in trying Nanno as a parent, just click here. Or, if you would like to join as a caregiver, click here.
Clip Box Tops for Education! Just cut them out and send them to school with your child or drop them off in the box inside the front door. Since 2013 this has raised over $16,000 for Hackberry Hill.
