7th Annual Hawks Silent Auction

Have you ever noticed the parking spot reserved for “silent auction winner”? Well you can win it too! We will be holding a raffle for the parking spot on November 10 at the 7th annual silent auction! You can buy a ticket for $1. You can buy as many as you want and the more you buy the better your chances are to win that front row spot. We will be selling tickets in the office every day until the drawing or you can purchase them online. ! All money goes right back to our school!

The Silent Auction is coming up November 10 and we are in need of donations!! All donations are tax deductible and all money raised goes right back to the school. Please bring any NEW items to the office. We have collected the following items in the past and have been successful: jewelry, art, sport memorabilia, event tickets, gift certificates, tattoos, hair cuts, gift baskets, hotel stays, even an African Safari. If you would like to help out your child and this amazing school please consider donating something! And better yet – COME TO THE AUCTION!

November 10 at Indian Tree Clubhouse from 6:00 to 9:00pm

Tickets are on sale now! Look out for information in your next Friday Folder or buy them online. Contact Kari Cochran if you have any questions: kari@cochran-family.net

Make a difference in your school and your child's life - By participating in the PTA you help your school achieve things they couldn't do without you. Opportunities are abundant to help out, whether it is by donating your time, knowledge, presence at an event or showing that you support the school by becoming a member.

Tap into a network - Parenting is not easy and it helps to share ideas, concerns and perspectives with people who are going through similar experiences. PTA provides the opportunity to meet other parents and caregivers in your community.

It is easy! Click here to join PTA. It only takes a couple of minutes and simply by becoming a PTA member and paying your $10 dues you are helping to raise valuable funds for Hackberry Hill!

PTA meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Childcare is provided to make it even easier for you to join and let your voice be heard. SIT (School Improvement Team) meetings are held directly after the PTA meeting

Super Simple Ways to Help Hackberry Hill

Shop on Amazon! Use Amazon Smile when you shop on Amazon. Once you set up Hackberry Hill PTA to receive donations, when you shop using Amazon Smile you'll be raising money for your school!

Use Nanno! Nanno is an on-demand childcare app to help parents find last-minute childcare by connecting them with available caregivers with whom they share a connection – whether through a friend, colleague, fellow parent, school, etc. The network is invitation-only, and Nanno has invited all Hackberry Hill Elementary parents and teachers/staff to join the Hackberry Hill Elementary “hub” on the Nanno network. When a member of the Hackberry Hill Elementary network books or accepts a job through Nanno, Nanno will donate 10% of its revenue for that job back to Hackberry Hill. If you’re interested in trying Nanno as a parent, just click here. Or, if you would like to join as a caregiver, click here.

Clip Box Tops for Education! Just cut them out and send them to school with your child or drop them off in the box inside the front door. Since 2013 this has raised over $16,000 for Hackberry Hill. Last year alone this brought almost $1,300 to Hackberry Hill. Here is a list of the participating products. Take a look around your house and chances are you will find some!

Milk Caps for MOOLA- Do you get milk delivered from Longmont Dairy? Save your milk caps and drop them off in the box inside the front door.
