The run will leave Gulgong on the 1st August 2011 with 3 weeks allocated for the trip.

Please note that whilst Club is organising the trip to Uluru all participants will be required to provide their own Support, Accommodation and Food etc.

Details of the trip will be displayed here as they come to hand.

The Trip.

The group got away on Monday as planned, albeit a lot smaller than planned with the wheels literally falling of bikes and blokes the closer the big day came.

The first night seen them camped at Cobar.

The Second & Third day had the group at the old mining town of Silverton, west of Broken Hill doing a bit of sight seeing. They will head off to Port Augusta on Thursday.

Heard from Trish on Friday evening, the group had made it to Coober Pedy and found a nice cabin in a friendly caravan park. The Miller Family are a day behind at this stage as John had to do some repairs to his Van. They will stay for a day in the Opal Fields looking about before they head off towards the Northern Territory on Sunday.

Trish has put a post on Face book that they arrived at "the Rock" on Monday arvo. Saying the sun set was great. They were going to get up early Tuesday morning to have a look at the sun rise.

Trish wrote, "We spent a couple of days at kings canyon, walked the rim. We are now at Peterborough, going to the motorcycle museum tomorrow. Then we are heading down

into Vic, going via Swanhill. Having trouble putting up pics will keep trying."
