A Fluffy warship. It fits in the spherical force field. Engine (and main weapon) is at the bottom, it is exhaust from an open-ended fusion containment. Other guns are electromagnetic rail guns and particle beams.

Attack on Dome 49 on Earth (I have since decided that weapons would shoot from outside the dome, there is no way to put a hole in it)

Fluffy fighters are powered by fusion engines mounted on gimbals (Fluffies have an advantage in that they can withstand many more G forces than we can). Weapon is an electromagnetic gatling gun, this one also carries a strategic nuke to try and breach the dome.
