Below is a complete list of positions in the Volunteer Learning Team and the position descriptions that have been developed.
Facilitates face-to-face Workshops, Courses, and Seminars in all regions of the council. Here is a road map of how to become a Facilitator.
Facilitates Getting Started for new Troop Leaders at the council or service unit level. Requires special preparation workshop to be a Getting Started Coach.
Regional Home Team Coordinator
Works with Volunteer Learning Managers to coordinate facilitator scheduling and development.
Service Unit Learning Coordinator
Works with Home Team coordinators to identify learning needs and promote learning opportunities.
Facilitator Mentor
Works with potential new Facilitators to help them get started in the system
Adult Development Advisory Committee
provides advice and recommendations on policies, procedures and other issues that may occur within the purview of the volunteer Learning Department.
(Event Director, Assistant Event Director, Director in Training, Advisor) Work with staff to plan Volunteer Learning conferences.
Certification Course Instructor
Certified to facilitate Red Cross Trainings provided by the council.
Instructor of Facilitators
Provides Facilitating Adult Learning Seminar and other skill development opportunities as requested.
Work with the Volunteer Learning Department to design standardized curricula.
