1. Establish use of a paper planner and a thesis binder where you will store research and class handouts / printouts. It's really important to have physical printouts of articles, directions, and your work. We will talk more about this soon, but know that we do check the thesis binder.
2. Set up a gmail account. Even if you already have one, you may want to create a new one to use only for school. This will be necessary to have set up in order to join our Google Classroom.
3. Start familiarizing yourself with Google Drive and Google Docs. This is what we will use for class. One of the reasons for this is how it syncs with the Google Classroom for grading and feedback, but a huge bonus is it provides automatic and free cloud backup for the protection of your work!
