DEADLINE: June 15th, midnight HOL time
Please submit to zokivphantom@gmail.com with the subject "Grindelwald - Project - HOL Name"
Example if I was to submit mine: Grindelwald - Project - Prof. Zoki Phantom. Other people may write for example: Grindelwald - Project - Barbara Potter.
Each option is worth 30 House Points. You get to choose which one you prefer to do. Please submit only one, as I'm unable to award you more than 30 house points, regardless of the amount of work you do!
We talked a bit about Nurmengard in the class. Yet, there's potentially still a lot we don't know about it, including its residents. Likewise, the Wizarding World also has other prisons - such as Azkaban, for example. Your task is to research the prisons of the Wizarding Worlds and write about them. Any facts, whether about the prisons themselves or potentially imprisoned wizards, are areas you can explore.
You're free to take into account everything in the lessons, but will also need to look for information yourself outside of the class content. Please list/credit accordingly any additional sources that you use for this. For full house points I expect at least 300 words on the topic.
Magic goes a bit beyond facts - why look only at history when we can envision our own tales? Nurmengard is be a notable prison, and we can make it even more noteable if we add an enchanting story surrounding it. You can choose whether it's going to be about an event that took place inside the prison itself, or about a wizard/witch that was imprisoned there. Tell us a story of your creation!
You're free to take into account everything from the class. You're also free to completely create something out of scratch from your mind. If you use any additional sources please list/credit them accordingly. For full house points I expect at least 300 words on the topic.
We've gone through some descriptions of Nurmengard, as well as its backstory. What we seem to be missing though are visuals! Paint us a picture surrounding the prison. This could be an art/graphic/craftwork of the prison itself, of Grindelwald's time there, of his encounter with Voldemort, or something completely fresh and brand new. The details are up to your imagination! Whatever you choose to do, note at least a one sentence description of what your piece of art represents.
Please keep in mind that this task is worth 30 house points and as such effort should be on a similar level. One art piece is sufficient but should show effort. Should you use any external resources please list/credit them accordingly.
