My career has focused on Public Relations for local government. My responsibilities include writing and illustration for print and other media, and website updates, but I particularly enjoy public presentations. I have given educational presentations throughout the county in person, and also via radio, television, and YouTube. For eight years I was the Senior Graphic Designer at Bay News 9, Bright House's local 24-hour television news station. In the mid-1990s, I played a large role in the revamp of the Home Shopping Network's on-air graphics and was a management assistant for a department of 60 employees.
In 2016, I conceived and co-created the largest comic con in Pinellas County - a St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus event with attendance surpassed only by President Obama's 2012 campaign visit. In 2018-2019, I organized Hamil-Fest, Florida's first major event for fans of the Broadway hit Hamilton.
The Tampa Bay area has been my home for most of my life, and I love international travel. In addition to art, I enjoy bicycling and tutoring a class in English for Speakers of Other Languages.
