The GHS Cheerleaders are selling concessions during breaks on the 2nd floor.  Everything is $1.


Interested in running for a student council office?  There will be an informational meeting during enrichment on March 1st in room room 221. You must be present in order to receive paperwork. Paperwork will not be given out any other time.


There will be an very important Student Council meeting on Tuesday , Feb. 27th at 5:30 in room 101. Elections will be discussed.

The Prom Experience is an event for all high school students providing FREE Formal Attire, accessories, as well as hair & make-up appointments.  The event will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10 AM at Crafton Farms, 209 Crafton Rd., Portland, TN.  


February is FFA Month.  To Celebrate, the Ag Department will be sharing an interesting Ag fact each morning.  Today's fact is: Hair conditioners, lotions and lip balms often contain wheat protein.


Book club will meet Thursday, March 1, during Enrichment. Remember to get your pass to attend (and it must be teacher approved).  We will discuss AS RED AS BLOOD by Simukka


WBL CO-OP Students with Mrs. Foster, the 2nd 4.5 weeks grading packet is due by Tuesday, March 6th.  You may pick up in room 102 during breaks or at enrichment.  See Mrs. Foster if you have any questions


Nominations for Senior Superlatives is this week on Thursday and Friday, February 22-23 and Monday and Tuesday, February 26-27. Go to room 143 (Mr. Loyd Smith's room) during third block or Enrichment. You must have an ID to nominate.

The next Interact Club meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7:45 in room 138.  Please bring your calendars.


GHS is starting an Astronomy Club.  Anyone interested in learning more, bring a note from your Enrichment to visit Mr. George's room (233 in the new wing) any Friday during Enrichment.


Renaissance concessions will be sold this Friday, February 23 in front of the library after first block.  They will also be sold in front of Mrs. Hammock's room after lunch.  Chips and drinks are $1 and everything else is $1.50.    


The first Criminal Justice Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:30am in Coach Harper's classroom (Room 225). A second meeting will also be held for those students who are unable to attend the morning session on February 27th at 3:30pm in Mr. Pascarella's classroom (Room 210).
