Greenville Adult and Community Education's Basic Adult Education Program focuses on developing and strengthening an individual's skills in reading, writing, math, and computers.
GACE is committed to helping students set and attain goals, develop critical thinking skills needed to function and succeed in society, and to acquire the tools needed to become life-long learners.
Some of GACE's student goals and accomplishments include: learning to read, finding employment, getting a driver's license, budgeting, registering to vote, becoming a first-time voter, enrolling in college, becoming active in the community, helping their children with homework, writing a resume, filing a personal tax return, opening, maintaining and balancing a checkbook, and learning computer skills.

There is no fee for services if you are enrolled in a GACE academic program (HiSET, HSD, CT, or LIFE), 0therwise a small fee may apply. Waivers are available for special circumstances.
