Volunteering

There are many opportunities for volunteering within the PTA that can be very rewarding for you, our school and our students. We welcome your ideas, feedback and valuable time. We look forward to hearing from you and helping to build our school community.

For PTA Activities

The Greencastle PTA thrives when we have parent, teacher and family volunteers. PTA also offers SSL credits to MCPS students.

For In-School Activities

All volunteers in the school or on field trips must complete the MCPS Volunteer Form, which includes submitting a copy of a government issued ID and a completed certificate or email confirmation of completion of training on Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect -- http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/childabuseandneglect/. The form, copy of ID, and proof of training must be submitted together.
